The thermostable transition coating is fine processed by high purity modified silicate solution.It is of liquid state with 1700℃ temperature resistance ability.No volatile odor in either normal temperature or high temperature. It is mainly cooperatively used with other thermostable water-based coatings as pretreatment.Such coating can inhance the adhesive force of other coatings. The thermostable transition coatings can be categrized into 3 categories according to the matrix differences. They are ZS-1101 thermostable transition coating for metal,thermostable transition coating for fibers,thermostable transition coating for graphite and thermostable transition coating for normal temperature(usually matched with thermal reflective TBC).
ZSWH special modified silicate solution,bentonite,ceramic fibre, PEG (polyethylene glycol). These are main components of ZS-1101 thermostable transition coating.
Thermostable transition coating for graphite is transparent colorless liquid. Soaking is the best way to apply the coating.After soaking for 2 hours,take the graphite out and wait at least 2 hours until it dry out. Then we can use other water-based thermostable coating by soaking until the formation of cladding on the surface of graphite.
